This Privacy Policy explains how Prime55 (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit prime55.net (the “Site”) or join our waitlist. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Waitlist details: your first name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your mobile phone number, restaurant name, and number of locations.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or text.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring links, collected through standard logs and analytics.
- Cookies & similar technologies: including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel — see “Cookies & tracking” below.
2. How we use your information
- To add you to the waitlist and send you launch updates and early-access information.
- To contact you by email and, if you provided a number, by text message about Prime55.
- To operate, measure, and improve the Site and our marketing.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against misuse.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you provide a mobile number, you consent to receive occasional text messages from Prime55 about early access and launch. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not remove you from email updates unless you also unsubscribe there.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and pixels to understand traffic and measure our advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which helps us measure and optimize ads on Facebook and Instagram and may allow Meta to show you relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad personalization in your Meta ad preferences and via the DAA opt-out.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Site and waitlist (for example, our hosting and form provider, Netlify), under agreements that limit their use of it.
- Advertising & analytics partners such as Meta, through the Pixel described above.
- Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
6. Data retention
We keep waitlist information for as long as needed to contact you about Prime55 and as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email privacy@prime55.net.
8. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.
9. Children
The Site is intended for restaurant operators and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above.
